Parish Pastoral Council (PPC)

The members of the PPC advise the Pastor of what is going on with the Parish from a parishioner’s point of view. They keep him advised of where the Parishioners are and where they would like the Parish to go. They are long term thinkers for the direction of the Parish and are busy with 6 month, 5 year, and 10 year plans for the Parish. This is not a “doing” committee. They do not have bake sales, set the RE schedule, or figure out the Parish budget. When they see a need they develop a committee to be the working group to accomplish this goal.

Each member of the PPC also sits on another committee to help guide that committee to the overall parish plan and serve as communication links between the PPC and the committees. They are not voting members of these committees though they may participate in any of the functions the committees may be involved in.

Members of the PPC are always looking for ways to help improve our parish. Their names and phone numbers are listed in the bulletin each week. Please feel free to contact them and let them know what you are thinking. You may also email your comments to the councils and committees. Email Rectory@Parishmail.com and in the subject line put the name of the committee. The staff will forward your emails to the appropriate committee vice-chairs.
